New smart routers provide subscribers with incredibly high data rates over Wi-Fi channels and reliable Wi-Fi coverage areas in homes. At the same time, new routers have simple installation procedures: such a device can be installed in just a few minutes. Routers support new devices for monitoring and managing residential buildings, as well as new mobile applications for remote access to files, photos, videos, music and much more anywhere and anytime. New Smart Wi-Fi routers and compact USB adapters are due to hit the market in spring 2013.
