ASUS has announced the availability of the RT-AC5300 and RT-AC88U routers in the Russian market, providing high data transfer speeds and a large coverage area.
The RT-AC5300 model is a modern wireless router that implements a number of technologies aimed at increasing the data transfer speed and stable operation with several client devices at the same time. The tri-band (2 × 5 GHz and 1 × 2.4 GHz) router supports IEEE 802.11a / b / g / n / ac and MU-MIMO technology.
According to the manufacturer, the device provides a total data transfer rate in a wireless network of up to 5334 Mbit / s. Tri-Band Smart Connect technology automatically selects the optimal Wi-Fi frequency range for each client device.
The presence of eight antennas in the 4 + 4 configuration (receiving and transmitting data, respectively) in the RT-AC5300 model means a large coverage area of a Wi-Fi wireless network. AiRadar beamforming technology also contributes to reliable radio transmission.
The router has on board a dual-core processor with a frequency of 1.4 GHz, 128 MB permanent and 512 MB RAM, one Gigabit Ethernet port for WAN and four for LAN, USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports.
The second router, RT-AC88U, is a dual-band (5 and 2.4 GHz) device with support for Wi-Fi 802.11a / b / g / n / ac. This model provides a total wireless bandwidth of up to 3167 Mbps.
The router is equipped with four antennas, a dual-core processor with a frequency of 1.4 GHz, 128 MB of read-only memory and 512 MB of RAM, as well as eight ports of a wired Gigabit Ethernet network.
MU-MIMO technology and AiRadar beamforming system are supported. There are USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 ports.
