Connect the cable between the computer and the LAN port of the router.
Check if the computer receives an IP address from the router.
Typically, IP looks like 192.168.0. * Or 192.168.1. *, Instead of an asterisk, there can be any number from 2 to 254.
Open a browser (Google Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Opera, Internet Explorer, etc.) and type in the address bar the IP address that you learned in the previous step, replacing the last digit with 1.
Example: computer IP address = 192.168.0.101, then enter 192.168.0.1 into the browser
Example: computer IP address = 192.168.1.51, then enter 192.168.1.1 into the browser
If everything is correct, the router will ask you to enter a username and password.
